加拿大一项全球民调显示，有将近一半的加拿大公民感觉自己大材小用，英雄无用武之地。而觉得大材小用的人比例最高的国家是中国，高达84%，总之一句话，你我都是那个自认为大材小用和怀才不遇的人。
前不久有报道说，有八成的受访者认为央企招聘裙带关系泛滥。在官场，公务员和提升待遇还大都靠论资排辈甚至是需要攀附权利谋取利益。在这样一个潜规则之下，要么随波逐流，要么只能面对“大材小用”的残酷现实。当3000多名本科生，29名硕士应聘一个环卫工岗位是时，我觉得，八成人自认为大材小用。
这些自认为是大材小用的人们，要正确面对逆境，保持良好的心态，要淡泊名利得失，善于发现自身的存在的差距，要保持平常心，乐观心。
