1.i think our city is more beautiful than yours.

2.han mei studies more carefully than wang fang.

1.a big truck is carrying more oranges than that one.(many的比较级)

2.is there more water in the yellow glass than that in the green one?(much的比较级)

1.there’re only two books.we’ll need one more.

2.—would you like some more?

—no,thanks.i’m full.

四、not…any moreno more表“不再”。

1.the baby can’t eat any more.

2.jim and his family went to england.we saw them no more.

1.there are more and more books in the library.

2.english is becoming more and more important.we must work hard at it.

六、the more,the better表“越来越好”,the more可放名词前。

1.the more books we have, the better we are.

2.the more friends she has,the better she is.

“the more,the+比较级”中第二个the后可接其它比较级形式,如the more…,the worse…

七、放在than前,构成more than短语,相当于over。

kate is a good student.she has more than one hundred books.

八、more or less为固定短语,相当于about,表“或多或少;差不多”。

1.they are more or less willing to help.

2.—how far is the post office from here?

—it’s eight kilometers

Talk,speak,say,tell

Look!She is speaking in the classroom.. Do you speak English?

例如:“What are you saying?”“I`m saying nothing.”

Please say it in English.

May I talk to you? Xiao Li is talking with her teacher. What are you talking about?

Please tell us the good news.

I have something to tell you.

A. each、every、everyone的区别

eg. She knows each student of the class. She knows every student of the class.

eg. Each of them doesn't smoke. (主语) The teacher asked each student . (宾语) We each have a holiday.

eg. Every boy has a book on the desk.

区别:eg. 误 Every of us has a dictionary.正:Each of us has a dictionary.

eg. There are some trees on _____ side of the street. A. bothB. each

C. every

eg. Since everyone is here, let's begin. Every one of us went there.

B. race,match,game,competition,contest

eg:(1)Who won the 100-etre______? (2)The football______was so exciting that all the people watching kept shouting all the time. (3)Basketball is such a popular______in the U.S.that whenever there is a ______the place is always crowded. (4)Have you entered for the writing______? (5)Let’s have a______of cards.

答案:(1)race (2)match (3)game;match (4)competition/contest (5)game

主要看搭配: a sports shop, a fruit shop. Department Store.
