Good morning, ladies and gentleman. 5 years ago I visited DuJiangyan Irrigation project. I was so angry with a man. At that time, I was waiting in a long line to buy the ticket for that resort. But a man, who was not the working stuff here, went into that resort area directly without waiting in lines and without a ticket. How can he do that? Because he was a handsome man? Or because he was a VIP? Or he was a gangster? Of course not. In fact, only because he has the tour guide certificate hung on his neck. Later, I know we can visit most of resorts for free with that certificate. Luckily , I made it last year and visited some places for free such as Happy Valley in Chengdu, and resorts in dujiangyan. Now, I’d like to share with you ahout how to get that certificate.
The tour guide examination includes two parts-----paper exam and interview. So now my speech will focus on three parts . the first part is about basic information about this exam. The second part is the details about paper exam. The last part is details about interview part.
Now, first, some basic information. The exam for certificate of tour guide includes Chinese tourguide, French tourguide, Japanese tourguide and so on. So you can choose one which is suitable for you. But today I will only focus on the Chinese tourguide in Sichuan. The fee for paper exam is 180RMB, for interview is 60RMB. The paper exam and interview are respectively held in November and December each year. The grades will not be preserved, that means if you passed the paper exam and failed the interview. Next year, you also need to start from paper exam. The certificate is conferred by Sichuan tourism bureau, but it is valid all over the China. The passing rate of tour guide is no more than 40%, but some people just take it without preparing or even gave it up like civil servant exam. And some people are older than university students. They have left their study career for a long time. It’s more difficult for them. Compared to all those, university students have great advantages to pass it.
Since we have generally knew this examination. Now let’s move into the next part----details about paper exam, how to prepare for it? First , you need to register online and pay the fee for it. The website is online, I know you can’t remember it. Forget it. I will offer you a convenient way, that is Baidu. You only need to input these words online, and then search it . you can find it. Secondly, you need to buy the review books for the exam. There are 6 books. They are about law, comprehensive information, Chinese language and literature, ooutlin of the exam. And review books for interview. You can buy them from Sichuan tourism bureau. It will cost you 165Rmb. But you can buy piratical ones online. It’s much cheaper. And you may choose one exercise book to test yourself. Third, the process of reading books is very hard .because it has a lot of content. But you can read it according to the outline of the exam. There you can find what is important. And also you’d better prepare for it early even though the exam is all about choice questions. Finally, the paper exam is always held in the Southwest University for nationalities.
So that’s all about the paper exam, now let’s move to next part----details about interview part. How to prepare for it? The interview includes two parts. The model tourguide and question and answer part. Compared with paper exam, it’s much easier. You only need to recite the tour guide presentation words and the answers to these questions. You can find all of them on the internet. The interview is usually held in Military hotel in Chengdu. During the interview, you’d better dress formal and look energetic. The first impression is very important in the interview.

Second:Differences in Communication Language
The western etiquette emphasize practical expression of frank, candid，The Chinese people do everything must give way to others ,Seemed humble and subtle.Embodied in the following areas:
(1) Daily greeting
When daily greeting ,the Chinese people mostly use "have you eat?" "Where are you going?" and so on, This reflects the intimacy between people, But for Westerners, this greeting will make them feel abruptly, awkward, even uncomfortable, In the West, the daily greeting just say "hello" or by time points, say "good morning", "good afternoon," "good evening." and so on.
(2)Title
In China, generally only familiar with each other or close people can call each other names directly ,but in the West, not so. In the West, when people meet they like call each other‘s names, which can express friendly to others.In the west ,At home, you can call directly to your father and mother's name, All male elders can be called "uncle", All female elders can be called "Auntie" .This is not possible in our China, we must make it clear about generational, otherwise it will be considered not polite.
(3) Farewell
In china when say farewell to patients ，people always say "drink plenty of water," "put on more clothes," "Breakfast of rest" and the like, then, to show care to the patient.But westerners will never say "drink plenty of water" such kind of word, because such kind of word would be considered indiscreet remarks, they would say, "Take care," or "I wish you a speedy recovery," and so on.
(4) Praise
Faced with others praise, chinese people often said ashamed, and I still need a long way such words, In order to express their modesty,
However,when westerners face a sincere compliment or praise of others,they often use“ thank you ”to accept each other's good intentions.
Third:Differences in table manners
Chinese people have a long saying called "Food is as big as sky"（引用民语“民以食为天来论述吃饭对中国人的重要性”）, shows the importance of dietary in the eyes of chinese people,Chinese food focusing on color, smell and taste, even more than the focus on nutrition.Western diet take more attention on nutrition and absorption, is a scientific concept of diet,besides,there are many differences in restaurant atmosphere and table manners.

Actually, I worship Van Diesel and Jason Statham very much because both of them are muscle men. And I dream to have a good figure like them. Believe it or not, I went to Beijing to attend the movie launch this year, and I saw them in person. They say hallo to me.
However, every time I come to this film, I have to say something sad about another actor of this film I loved very much, Paul Walker. He was died in an car accident in 2013.After I heard of this news, I was in low spirits for several days. Paul was an outstanding actor. He had excellent acting skills. In addition, he was actively involved in charity work for many years. Paul deserves our respect. And live up to expectations, at the end of the film, the director cat many shots of him using the song See You Again as background music in memory of him.
